Our Team

The Female Founders’ Trail is led by a collective of female entrepreneurs with global experience in finance, technology, luxury tourism, marketing and social impact. With backgrounds spanning investment banking, corporate strategy and rural development, the team combines commercial expertise with a deep cultural understanding of Sri Lanka. Their shared passion for the island and commitment to empowering women lies at the heart of this initiative—curating immersive, women-led travel experiences while fostering inclusive economic growth.

This bold project operates under the umbrella of the Creative Women platform, an international network founded in 2016 in the UK and endorsed by high-level patronages. As the platform’s official representation in Sri Lanka—the team is leveraging this platform to uplift local female founders through global exposure, mentorship and entrepreneurial education. By connecting travelers to inspiring women across Sri Lanka, the Trail not only enriches the visitor experience but also lays the groundwork for a scalable model of empowerment—one that can extend to other regions and communities around the world.
